About King Crab Cakes 

Ingredients: Alaskan King Crab, mayonnaise (expeller canola oil, cage free eggs, water, vinegar, organic cane sugar, mustard flour, salt), panko bread crumbs (unbleached wheat flour, sugar, yeast, salt), liquid eggs (whole eggs, citric acid, xanthan gum, guar gum), Flagship Cheese (milk, flagship cheese [pasteurized cultured milk, enzymes, salt], red bell peppers, celery, green onions, butter (milk [cream], salt), garlic, Old Bay seasoning (celery salt [salt, celery seed], spices [including red pepper and black pepper], paprika), Worscestershire sauce (distilled white vinegar, molasses, sugar, water, salt, onions, anchovies, garlic, cloves, tamarind extract, natural flavorings, chili pepper extract), lemon juice, lemon zest, red chili flakes. CONTAINS: MILK, WHEAT, EGGS, SHELLFISH.

Cooking Instructions:

Pan Saute: 

  • Heat 2 Tbsp. olive oil and 2 Tbsp. of unsalted butter pan for 1 minute over medium heat until hot but not smoking.
  • Place cakes in medium-sized pan, cook approximately 4 minutes.
  • Gently flip and sauté an additional 3-4 minutes until golden brown, adding more olive oil if needed.
  • Place on paper towels to remove excess oil before serving and serve warm.

Bake: 

  • Preheat oven to 450°F.
  • Combine 2 Tbsp. of melted unsalted butter and 2 Tbsp. of olive oil in a small bowl, and brush mixture all over crab cakes.
  • Place crab cakes on a baking sheet 2 inches apart.
  • Bake for 15 minutes or until golden, gently flip, and bake an additional 5 minutes until golden brown.
  • Place on paper towels to remove excess oil before serving and serve warm.

* Crab cakes should be cooked to an internal temperature of 165°F.
